Black economist known for his clear and concise arguments on complicated economical issues. He was raised by by his great-aunt and her two daughters in Harlem in the 40's and years later graduated CumLaude from Harvard University in Economics. Later on he would be known to the general public through appareances on the Free to Choose series, interviews-discussions with William F Buckley, Hoover Institution interviews, Sowell's books and more.
Anecdote: He was a Marxist throughout all his youth, even when taking his Ph.D in
Chicago with Milton Friedman as a teacher. However,
one summer working as an intern for the Department of Labor made him assume that the general interest and the government interest weren'
t on the same line.
