Strength of Slot

also known as Strength of Time Slot, is a term used, often in televation ratings circle, particularly network tv ratings, in describing the competitiveness of a timeslot. The more competitive the slot, the harder it is for shows, especially those on lowly network stations such as CW, to garner high viewership, either in the 18-49 age group or total viewers. Many shows get canceled due to being in difficult time slots as well as facing off against much higher rated shows in the similar slot.
Duante: Monday nights are typically very poor for the CW as they have to go up against shows such as NBC's The Voice and Blacklist, two shows which often pull 3.0 or higher ratings for the 18/49 age group and 9+ million total viewers. The Strength of Slot is pretty high and competitive

MUA Nicole Kristen Williams: So true, The top show on CW is lucky to pull a 1.4 in 18-49 much less a 2.0 or 3.0+.

Strength of Schedule

term used, often in America Football, particularly College Football, in describing the difficulty of opponents a team has faced. The harder the S.O.S., the better as the team is more likely to be pardoned for losing games if they typically face better opponents.
Ohio State beat out Baylor and TCU to grab the fourth and final spot of the 2014 college football playoffs because Ohio State had a better strength of schedule as well as out of conference schedule. So though all three had lost one game each, the committee believed Ohio State's strength of schedule warranted them being awarded the final spot in the rankings.

The Law of Inverse Ninja Strength

When confronted by ninja(s), the individual ninja will be far more powerful than a group of ninjas. To see the effectiveness of a group of ninjas simply use the equation power= 1/n, where n is the number of ninjas
Don't worry about the group of 1,000 ninjas, worry about the single guy, according to The Law of Inverse Ninja Strength

Retard strength

The inexplicable physical force possessed by the mentally handicapped, even after they have been institutionalized or are incapable of any excercise program. Retard strength is never used for any constructive purpose, and often results in unintentional injury.
Even after he broke out of his restraints and had three guards and a nurse subduing him, he still had enough retard strength to break two chairs and a table.

Crackhead strength

The genre of strength that can be displayed by crackheads, usually in fits of rage and/or at the comedown of a high. This strength is rarely known as the victims of such force are usually killed or crackheads themselves. It is best exemplified by the grip of a crackhead, and those on the business end feel instantly helpless, both from the power exerted and the determined look in the crackheads eyes
"Did you see the way that bum was clenching his fists?"
"Ya man I bet hes got mad crackhead strength"

Strength and Honor

A term used to denote ones intentions; how they shall comport themselves; a protocol based on the principals of strength (courage, power, force) and Honor (integrity, honesty, respect)
1. The people asked her to be their leader because she demonstrated strength and honor in all she did for them.

2. As the barbarians crested the hill, the General raised his sword to his troops and belted out "Strength and Honor" as the battle cry.
3. America will only survive if her people return to the values of strength and honor in the home and in the workplace.

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
