Spodatip
N. A person who refuses to tip for services rendered. Originates from the commonly uttered grunt these subjects make while paying a food server, pizza driver, etc. as in "So, we spodatip?"

Error in the first AES entry: Zach Kamins plays the guitar, bass and keyboard, not the drums. Andy Gentiles is the only drummer of An Endless Sporadic.

An Endless Sporadic
A band that fuses progressive rock with lounge music-esque chords and rythms. The band is composed of Zach Kamins (guitar, keyboard, drums) and Andy Gentile (drums.) An Endless Sporadic was formed in 2005.
They have only released 3 songs and are yet to be signed by a record company. The song "Sun of Pearl" was featured in the game Tony Hawk's American Wasteland, and the song "Impulse" was featured in Guitar Hero III. Their other song, "Adventures of Jabubu", was but an experimental project.
Those three songs are part of a 5 song demo called "Ameliorate". The two remaining songs in the demo are being recorded as of 07/12/29.
An Endless Sporadic's first three songs were made via Internet. The remaining two songs in the demo will be done with in-real-life collaboration between the two musicians, featuring acoustic percussions (while the aforementioned songs were recorded using electronic percussions.)

Boffin
British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”
Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.

When you have to pee in a movie but don’t want to miss anything, and must do the following mental equation: will the amount I have to pee cause enough discomfort to diminish my attention capacity for the remainder of the movie to an extent which is greater than the amount of the movie I would miss by making a mad dash to the restroom.
