To be in the spoddle of two things is between the two- half in one and half in the other. It can also be used as a verb.

I am in the spoddle of the sun and the shade.
i am spoddling the sun and the shade.

In between two things but not just like in the middle between them, you gotta be touching both like half in both of them at the same time, i've used it in a physical sense before and in a metaphorical sense too (see example)

I am spoddling your mom and her bedroom rn
I was in the spoddle of life and death.
