It originated from the name of their tour 'Nameless Liberty Six Guns' where the Vocalist Ruki described five out of six being held by the members of the band, while the sixth gun is held by the fans because "Nameless Liberty Six Guns" and "Nameless Liberty Six Bullets" were public and not only heresy tours.

What fans of the GazettE, A Japanese rock band, call themselves.

Sixth Gun is a broader term than the band's official fanclub 'Heresy' which pertain to fans who pay the membership fee. It originated from the name of their tour 'Nameless Liberty Six Guns' where the Vocalist Ruki described five out of six being held by the members of the band, while the sixth gun is held by the fans.

(Said superfan would be unlikely to ever be a member of said team, so concocting the notion of the 'sixth man' provides the illusion of personal validation, as such validation is, in the majority of cases, unattainable elsewhere)
