Used when referring to someone who loves music (usually Japanese-Pop) and has the intention of sharing their love of music with other people though, music is the only thing they can talk about because most of the time, they will lack the required social skills to start and keep a conversation going for quite some time.

Usually, a Reptake would share their music tastes by sharing their favourite works from their favourite artists using the Internet and would give their personal opinions of it but would rarely talk about it with someone either due to their lack of social skills or because the other person wouldn't be interested enough or would have entirely different music tastes

A Reptake would usually spend their free time listening to music and searching for more works that fit their tastes perfectly and after they find that certain work, they would spend their time listening to it and appreciating it.

Though, just because they like music, it doesn't necessarily mean they are good st making music themselves, though they would try to gain some musical talent, they would normally fail and continue appreciating other people's work to make up for their lack of musical talent.
Example 1
Person A: Your son has such a knack for science, why don't you make him pursue a degree in science?
Person B: I can't, even though he is good a science, he's just a Reptake and all he ever does is listen to these anime songs or whatever its called.
Person A: Ah, thats such a shame, if he did pursue a degree in something useful such as science, then maybe he'd have a bright future ahead of him.

Example 2
Person 1: Hey, have you heard of the song, Last Dance by Eve? Its such a great song. I loved the guitar parts at the start and the end part, as well as the vocals. The vocals man, Eve's vocals were spot on, like they made the song just so much better and the instrumental just highlighted to vocals even more.
Person 2: Would it kill you to just shut up for one fucking second. You're one annoying ass Reptake.

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
