Latin for girl, young lady, dame, lass, maiden, and whatnot, this word is used as though it were english in speach. This slang originated in the Portland (OR) area and is used by kids (late teens early adults) generally when talking about or to a young lady(ages 16ish-28ish).

Pella

A horrible town in Iowa. "A touch of Holland" Better known as a touch of hell. Native Pellakins are often rude and cheap. Many native Pellakins also belong to one of several cults within the city limits. They disguise themselves as "reformed" churches, but in reallity they are cults. Slogan saying, "If you ain't dutch you ain't much." Festival in May that worships tulips, called Tulip Time. Two major businesses in town, Pella Corp. and Vermeer. A small college, Central is located in town as well.

seafood paella

While a popular seafood restaurant dish - full of sea creatures, rice, veggies, and saffron - the term is commonly used to describe a foul smell. The odor of Port-a-Potties, wet dogs, and old gym shorts are all examples of a seafood paella stench.

Note: "Paella" is a spanish word and must be pronounced with a spanish twist.
"It smells like a seafood paella in here," Poppy said as she walked into a nursing home.
