The teacher asked me my favorite place overseas, so of course I said 'Phuket.' You should've seen her expression!

Phuket, Thailand 

A city in Thailand known for its beaches and bars. It is also used as an exclimation of surprise in the hit movie Juno.

Phukin Rite 

1. An exclamation of 'yes'. When 'yes' just wont do the point your trying to make any justice. Used when you feel so strongly about something or what you are trying to say is so obvious that your are almost brought into a violent rage that someone has questioned you. Should be said quickly and abruptly with a frown as to snap at the clown who dare question you.

2. Also can be used as a celebratory phrase for hateration purposes, similar to YSND, to express the utmost fulfillment you receive at the misfortune, or in the most extreme cases, demise of others. Commonly used with a fist pump.

1.Person 1:I heard they brought back the 99cent whopper at BK...you wanna go?

Person 2 (enraged by the absurdity of of his intentions being questioned): PHUKIN RITE!!

2.Person 1: Hate update: Bert was dumpster diving yesterday and got three toes bitten off by a gigantic rat....

phuket 

A tiny island off the coast of Thailand where it has many amazing beaches and beautiful scenery.

Again there are a lot of tourists here (mostly european) but they are decent people and quite friendly.

The local Thai people are friendly and the food again is great yet it is a little more expensive than Pattaya.

There are many many markets and stalls to shop from but be careful as the store owners try to rip you off, you have to barter with them.

The price you should pay for a shirt there is about 150 Baht though they will try selling it to at 750 baht at the start, just tell them 150 and they will say no, proceed to walk off and they will call you back and sell it to you at the right price.

It is also a great place to party with plenty of bars (possibly more than Pattaya) and plenty of accomadating women to spend the night with.

It has a younger crowd compared to Pattaya which is of course good if you yourself are also young.

Basically it is a great experience and there are plenty of things to do such as riding Elephants going to monkey islands and seeing some picturesque landscapes and beaches.

Go to Phuket to get drunk and have a ball, the women are great and the beaches are amazing.

Apparently it's a line used in the film Juno as an interjection, because Phuket kinda sounds like 'Fuck it'. However, Phuket, which is an island in Thailand, is actually pronouced Pu-kêt, so all in all, it's a stupid expression.

A: I have herpes.
B: Phuket Thailand!
C: Wait what?
