A catch phrase used to deflect scrutiny away from ones shortcomings and incompetency.

Donald trump refers to his own shortcomings and incompetence's by repeating the catch phrase obamagate like a deranged orange parrot.

Obamagate

(Noun), obama gait

1. An attempt to distract from Trumpgate (see "COVID-19").
2. An attempt to distract from the handling of COVID-19, and its virus death toll.
3. Truthfully, no clue what it means, Trump just says dumb things like this a lot (see "Covfefe", "Hamberder", "Noble prize", "Super duper missile").

"It’s a disgrace that Obamagate happened, Some terrible things happened … and you’ll be seeing more over the coming weeks". "What is the crime?." "You'll find out soon."
"No, really. what was the crime?." “You know what the crime is. Everybody knows”

Obamagate

The crime of being a successful black man given a position of power normally given to a white man. The accuser of the crime/criminal is typically a white racist person.

Obamagate is considered a disgraceful thing by many.

Legally Obligated

A phrase jokingly said when something is done so often, it has to be a law.

If someone says "Red Robin," you are legally obligated to say "Yum" immediately afterward.

Obamagate

A fake scheme made up by Republicans to hide that Trump is really the one being helped by Russia.

Basically, the idea of Obamagate is that Obama and Michael Flynn discussed a counterintelligence prom in 2016, and that Obama knew that there were attacks on the election and did nothing about it.

"This whole Obamagate thing... To be clear- and this is using the words of President Trump and his lawyers for the last three years—any sitting president can get any classified information they want. According to Donald Trump, they can launch any investigation they want. They can tell the FBI to pursue only particular individuals. This is not me saying it. This is what Donald Trump's been saying for three years."

Facebook obligate friend

When you get a friend request on facebook and for whatever reason you feel obligated or feel it necessary to accept their request even though you would prefer not to.

I didn't much like Lisa when we worked on the fundraiser together and now she put in a friend request to me on Facebook. I wouldn't have accepted it but she is so well connected in the community I think it would be a mistake to ignore it. I grouped her under what she is--a Facebook obligate friend.
