pit-nicking

To steal one small, not very valuable (in terms of money) thing out of a whole bunch of the things in a very 'sneaky'(ish) way, and then do it again and again from different bunches of things that belong to different people or groups because they won't notice if one of the things is gone and it won't really impact them in any way. Like going on a walk and stealing one flower from each yard to make a bouquet instead of stealing a bunch of flowers form one yard because no one will notice if one flower is gone and it makes you feel mischievous and sneaky in a delightful kind of way. (created and thought up by Aurora Aksnes (AURORA); found in a triple j interview)
"I went pit-nicking for a bouquet of flowers." "I pit-nicked some candy from the pantry while I was at my best friend's house."

"I've enjoyed a bit of pit-nicking in my life. I love stealing flowers from other people's gardens." - Aurora Aksnes

Nicking Around

Nicking Around is the act of when someone is being really nice and gives you the idea that that they want to be around you. Then out of nowhere ignores and avoids talking to you or being around you in anyway. Nicking around is a random occurance, but when it does occur causes people to feel "nicked off".
Me: I asked David if he wanted to hang out today.
Beth: oh yeah? what did he say?
Me: Well it was good at first, but then he started nicking around on me!
Beth: ugh! That's so annoying, did you feel "nicked off" after?

Nanking Massacre

The Nanking Massacre, also known as the Rape of Nanking, occurred during the Sino-Japanese War in which the Japanese occupied the then capital of Communist China (alternative spelling: Nanjing). It is also the main reason why so many old Chinese people discriminate against the Japanese.

During the Nanking Massacre, an estimated 200,000 to 300,000 people were killed by Japanese soldiers. Many of these people were women who were all raped before being mutilated and killed. The Japanese did not discriminate. They raped women of all ages, shapes, sizes, even pregnant women. Most of them were stabbed with bayonets and had their fetuses ripped out before they were raped. The Japanese rounded up civilians, prisoners, and soldiers for mass execution. Many of their corpses were thrown into the Yangtze River. Two soldiers had killing contests to see how many "chinks" they could kill.

However a handful of westerners created a safety zone, or a neutral zone, about the size of New York's Central Park located in the center of the city. This safety zone came to house approximately 200,000 people.

To this day, many Japanese people still refuse to acknowledge the fact that this atrocity occurred. The Nanking Massacre has been written out of Japanese textbooks and out of Japanese curriculum.

In conclusion, if someone gives you shit about the Japanese, don't blame them especially if they're old Chinese people because what the Japanese did to us Chinese people was un-fucking-forgivable.
Person 1: Did you read The Rape of Nanking by Iris Chang?
Person 2: Yeah, what the Japanese did could be seen as reasonable but only if you were a Japanese living at that time.
P1: I can't believe they still haven't owned up to their shit. The Nanking Massacre was so messed up.
P2: I love how The Rape of Nanking tells the story in the perspective of the Japanese, Chinese, and the Westerners.
P1: It truly is a work of art.
P2: *tear runs down face*

Rape of Nanking

the Rape of Nanking, was a genocidal war crime committed by the Japanese military in Nanjing (Nanking), then the capital of the Republic of China, after it fell to the Imperial Japanese Army on December 13, 1937. About 200,000 to 300,000 Chinese civilians were massacred in this period. Japanese officials lied about civilian death figures at the time, and some Japanese ultranationalists are still active in attempting to deny that the killings ever occurred which is obviously a load of bull shit.

During the occupation of Nanking, the Japanese army committed numerous atrocities, such as rape, looting, arson and the execution of prisoners of war and civilians. The executions began under the pretext of eliminating Chinese soldiers disguised as civilians, and a large number of innocent men were intentionally misidentified as enemy combatants and executed as the massacre gathered momentum. A large number of women and children were also killed, as rape and murder became more widespread.

80,000 women, including the elderly and infants were raped, gang raped and murdered. Women had their breasts cut off, sticks and other objects shoved into the vajina.

Rounded up civilians and soldiers shoot at in large groups.

So don't let anyone tell you that Japan didn't have that A-bomb coming to them.
