Murkowski'd

When someone is on your side until the last minute when they are talked into abandoning you with a petty bribe.
I missed my flight to Cancun because Fred said he would give me a ride to the airport but he Murkowski'd me when Joe offered him a cookie for a ride to the mall. This is the 27th time Fred Lisa Murkowski's me. I am starting to think he's not really my friend.

Lisa Murkowski

A U.S. Senator from Alaska. Murkowski was the incumbant in the 2010 election, but she was defeated in the G.O.P. primary by tea party candidate Joe Miller.
After the primary she mounted a write-in campaign. After some dispute and a recount, Murkowski won re-election in the first sucessful write-in campaign in 50 years!
It was a glorious slap in the face for Sarah Palin when Lisa Murkowski defeated her favored tea party candidate!

Lisa Murkowski

To stick around in a place where you are no longer wanted.

A social terrorist who has already been told to leave, but remains anyway.

To lose a primary election, but to end up running in the general election anyway as a third-party candidate, so as to spite the primary winner by trying to steal votes from him/her. See Charlie Crist.
What's his problem, I just broke up with this loser, and just told him to get out of my house, and now he's trying to sleep on my couch? What a Lisa Murkowski he is.

I could have swore that I told that lame douchebag to leave my party since he was not invited. He's still here twenty minutes later, starting arguments with my best friends, and creeping out my lady friends. Is he trying to pull a Lisa Murkowski on me?

Since Daddy's Little Girl (a.k.a. Lisa Murkowski) lost the primary to hold on to her Senate seat inherited from her father, her sense of entitlement overrode her sense of decency (assuming she had any), and she decided to run as a third-party candidate in order to steal votes from Joe Miller, the man who beat her in the primary, out of spite.

funiosity

The art of being peculiar, but in an amusing fashion.
"Wow, look at that dog running on three legs"

A toe rag was originally a foot wrapping used, since mediaeval times up until the mid-nineteenth century, to protect the foot from chafing by boots or shoes. As these were, quite literally, rags they weren’t usually washed, and so with use they became very smelly until they were thrown away. Because of the similarity in smell, toe rag also became the name applied to dried, salted cod or other things with a strong, unpleasant, fishy smell. It didn’t take that long before the name was applied to someone who was an obnoxious, unpleasant OIC.
1 “Socks! Those aren’t socks you smelly git, they’re toe rags!”
2 “What have you been cooking? Smells like toe rag!”
3 “I can smell ‘er fanny from ‘ere, proper toe rag.”
4 That Heale Malcolm is a right toe rag.

Eternity leave

When some resigns or retires from a job, they are on "eternity leave". This can also refer to someone who has passed away, especially someone who worked somewhere for a long time, retired/resigned, then passed away later.
Oh I'm sorry, you didn't know that Kelly is on eternity leave? She resigned and moved to Hawaii!

With regrets I would like to inform you that my boss is officially on eternity leave. I will never see or hear them again. Ever.
