When you try do kill someone but don't succeed. Often used by foreign people who doesn't know the term "attempted murder"

*In supreme court*
The victim: Why you murdertry me?
The criminal: Because I was mad at you.
Judge Judy: I sentence you to life in prison for murdertry. *Drops the mic*
