N. Gidget/ surfer lingo - an older surfer dude. A barrel chested, older man that is still surfing by day or moonlight. He is a matured surfer/retired/ over 50 and still shreds. Also a good looking older surfer.

moon doggy

This is the ring that sometimes appears around the full moon. It is not an object of any sort, but a visual effect. The appearent radius of the moon doggy is about ten times the diameter of the moon itself. It looks to our eyes like a perfect halo of light surrounding the moon.

Minion: Excuse me Wise One, what is that circle of light surrounding the moon?

Morgan: When there is just the right haze in the sky and the moon is full or nearly so, it is then that the moon doggy may appear.
