Literally translated from Latin, it means "against the world". It has been used to describe maverick, 'lone-ranger' individuals who lack interest in culture and relative comparisons made by people that the individual deems 'ignorant' (which doesn't make them wrong, necessarily).

The character Tyler Durden from the movie Fight Club is 'contra mundum'.

Monument Mountain Regional Highschool 

A low budget decrepit school from the 50’s in Great Barrington massachusetts. It’s about as full of asbestos as it is Trump supporting, gay hating country boys. It has a distinct smell of mold and burnt Juul pod. The shop teacher is pretty cool though I guess.

Monument 

Monument is a small truck-stop town in Colorado located roughly in between Colorado Springs and Castle Rock. To the citizens of Monument, this place is known for the excess of preps, white trash, a huge pop-punk music scene, and bitchy people complaining about how they don't like some aspect of this town(like me). If you ever visit Monument, tourist attractions are:
-Getting drunk
-Getting high
-Having sex
-Getting drunk, high, and having sex on Mt. Herman.
