The art of disapproving or "Hating" of someone because you lack Melanin color. This social issue is usually caused by people that really are just mad you look better than them, so instead of improving ones self they take out their anger on the unsuspecting dark brown to light sandy brown victim.
Melahating has many other variations but is not limited to hating on skin color alone but also encompasses anything that targets an individual's naturally beautiful features for instance Curly Hair etc.

Karen walked into the store and looked directly at a beautiful black woman and immediately started Melahating on her due to her natural afro and stunning chocolate brown skin. When the young black woman turned around to see who was harassing her, she noticed that all it was is jealousy wound up in a non-melanin foul mouthed heathen, so she replied: Don't you have anything better to do than melahating on me?
