A common Quarian phrase, from the video game trilogy Mass Effect, meaning "By the home world I hope to see one day." Exiled from their homeworld, the Quarians (an alien race known for their technological genius) have lived as space-nomads for about three centuries. Like the phrase "peace be with you", the phrase "keelah se'lai" can mean many things. But whether to express surprise, happiness, or frustration - for them to swear on their homeworld is the meaningful expression they have.

She is fine beautiful thick ass girl. She is thicker than a snicker and will make everyone who's not a hater laugh when she is around. She will find a special someone in middle school possibly a boy 1 grade higher than she is. This girl is the best person the be around in bad times. She is hilarious and a bit irritating sometimes. Boffin
British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”
Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.

When you have to pee in a movie but don’t want to miss anything, and must do the following mental equation: will the amount I have to pee cause enough discomfort to diminish my attention capacity for the remainder of the movie to an extent which is greater than the amount of the movie I would miss by making a mad dash to the restroom.
