Holinsnake is modern Yorkshire slang for a person who has little or no conscience, often with egotistical traits and very similar to a sociopath, they will lie in plain sight and spread misinformation for personal gain.

The man was a complete holinsnake, spreading lies and misinformation to promote a corporate ponzi scheme

Nick name for former Canadian prime minister Jean Cretin after he assaulted a protester in Hull, Quebec on February 1996. Pun on famous wrestler Hulk Hogan.

When a person denies or ignores incidences of racism and instead choses to focus on obfuscation or attacking those who call out racism.

Instead of criticising the racist comments that were made, he was hodging by attacking the accuracy of some peripheral facts.
