Heartstopper is what you feel in your chest when you see or read Nick and Charlie together (on-screen or in the books).

This phrase is commonly worded as "my heart stopped" or "that warmed my heart".

heartstopper

Heartstopper is a webcomic made by Alice Oseman in 2018. It focuses on the struggles of year 10 charlie spring as he is the only openly gay person in his boys only school. He suffered with severe bullying as he was unknowingly outed to the whole school about his sexuality which caused him to have a dip in his mental health. It also focuses on year 11 nick nelson who was seated next to charlie in form which then made their relationship grow and makes charlie soon realise that he has a crush on him.... we then go through the journey of nick realising what his sexuality is and the progressing relationship of Nick and Charlie as potential boyfriends.
