Gasbaiting 

When a person attempts to gaslight someone by making statements that are obviously inaccurate to the victim in order for the victim to call into question its validity and its absurdity.

This will tend to get an emotional response from the victim and detract away from the victim's original concern.

This will tend to cycle into each person accusing the other of gaslighting the other.

Veralyn: Stop trying to gasbait me, Colton. You and I both know that's not what happened, you are acting drunk and psychotic. Take responsibility for your shit, my guy.

Colton: You're crazy, stop gaslighting me.
Veralyn: No you're gaslighting me. Typical gasbaiting tactic.

A straight person outwardly welcoming flirtatious behavior from homosexuals of the same gender in order to receive validation and entertainment. Will often play the line of being flirtatious in return, but once it becomes physical, the gaybaiter will retract and continually assert their heterosexuality to "prevent any confusion".

"Hey do you think that Ethan is gay? He's been talking a lot with Gay Steven and they are all over each other."
"Oh hell no, didn't you know that Ethan is gaybaiting him? He's just lonely and wants to feel good."

When white people marginalise a POC because of their race but try to manipulate them into thinking it’s about something else.

White person: I’m sorry we are not selecting you for the job as you lack experience.

POC: But I’ve been doing this for 5 years and it says on the ad you only require 1 year of experience.

POC’s friend: Did you get the job?

POC: No, they said my 5 years of experience wasn’t enough. They were GasWhiting me because they don’t like POC.

Gangbaiting

A coordinated baiting tactic where multiple individuals work together to provoke a target into a reactive outburst. Gangbaiting can involve one person engaging while others watch, record, and amplify; or several taking turns to keep the target constantly under pressure. The goal is to produce a reaction that can then be screenshotted, reported, and used to frame the target as the aggressor. Gangbaiting is the collective version of reactive bait, using numbers to ensure the target eventually breaks.

Example: “Three users rotated shifts, each making subtle digs for six hours. When she finally snapped and told one to leave her alone, all three reported her for harassment. Gangbaiting: the mob as a machine for provoking reactions.”
