Dupont, WA

Dupont, Washington is in the Pacific Northwest. It is a beautiful, but growing, small town located in glorious Washington State nestled between the Cascades/Mount Rainer and the Puget Sound off of Interstate 5 between Exits 119 and 116.

If you are looking for the perfect place to walk, run, bike, or hike for the day or plan a weekend getaway, DuPont is the place you can spend the day in the woods without having to drive to the woods. The people that live there are upper middle class but rich compared to the rest of the United States due to the high cost of living. The homes there range from 300-500 thousand.

It has been dubbed pleasentville by many and thats a pretty accurate description. Powder Works Park is a very nice and up to date park with nice baseball fields soccer fields and a state of the art playground for the kids.

So if you have a family and you make atleast 100 large a year and dont mind living spitting distance away from your next door nieghbor then Dupont is the place for you.

Dupont Circle

One of the most famous neighborhoods in Washington DC. Incredibly expensive gay mecca with tons of shops, bookstores and bars. Home to Lambda Rising, America's first gay business to run a TV ad. Probably the place people most want to live in DC but you have to literally be a millionaire. It's a lot like if they shrunk down San Francisco and put it in DC.
Tom: let's go to Dupont Circle tonight!
Morris: yay!
Tom: I love their cool bookstores and coffee shops.

Morris: I love how there are many homosexual men as I am too a homosexual.

DuPont fishing lure

Catching fish by lighting a stick of dynamite and throwing it as far as you can into a lake or river, and then netting all the fish stunned by the explosion. Considered by most anglers to be excessive, it can be time saving if you have a large fish fry to prepare for. It can also lead to late-night visits from the BATFE and/or the Department of Homeland Security.

Named for the DuPont Company, who have been manufacturing explosives in the United States since the early 19th Century.
"Hey, how're we going to get enough fish for tomorrow night?"

"Grab the DuPont fishing lures and meet me at the lake; I'll show you."

Texas is categorized as a swing state in presidential elections, but has voted for Republicans more times than for Democrats in recent history. As such, as demographics change political alignments, some Democrats believe that Texas will vote blue, or Democratic, due to their Hispanic and African American voters, who often align themselves with the Democratic Party's liberal wing.

Blexas has been cited as possible in the upcoming decades, but only if Democrats continue to win the Hispanic vote in bigger margins.
Democrat 1: What is your prediction for the 2024 presidential election?
Democrat 2: Well uh, Blexas!
Democrat 1: You've been saying that since 2008 though.

Brought to public attention by Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein in the book on the fall of Richard Nixon, All The President’s Men, ratfucker was Nixon’s term for a political operative who sows chaos among opponents; an agent provocateur. It is thought to have originated among campus political rivalries at USC, and seems to have some usage in the US military.
Along with Nixon’s other ratfuckers, Roger Stone caused fights at otherwise peaceful Democratic Party protests to generate a false narrative that the Democrats were violent and dangerous.
