A person with low intelligence who has baseless confidence. Someone who is too dumb to understand how dumb they are. Relating to Dunning-Kruger effect.

Someone suffering from the Dunning-Kruger effect who believes s/he is far more capable than is true. Though the opposite can also be true and high performers underestimate themselves, dunkrug has a derogatory connotation. The term may also be used with respect to knowledge.

Only dunkrugs argue it's unnecessary to wear masks in restaurants when walking to their table.

I hate meetings with know-it-all Jim because he's really such a dunkrugger.
