The DeLorean was paneled with brushed aluminum; it was both physically similar to the Cybertruck and carried similar social connotations of audacity, impracticality, and douchebaggery.
The DMC12 was prominently featured in the 1985 film, Back To The Future as a retrofitted time machine.
