Daubner 

“Daubner” or 'Daubnerin' are German terms for a person who does usually embarrassing things so confidently that they appear admirable or cool. A Daubner or Daubnerin transforms a potential for embarrassment into respect by acting authentically yet without trying to appear decidedly cool.

The noun “Daubner/Daubnerin” and the corresponding verb “daubnern” go back to the German newsreader Susanne Daubner. Daubner reads out the contestants for the German youth word of the year since 2021. She recites words that are potentially embarassing so professionally that her reading has become a performance, eagerly awaited by the online community every year.

mud dauber 

The male equivalent to the mud shark. They are often found with very light skinned females. The mud dauber feels guilty for his male white privilege, yet receives many benefits for his inclusion within the black community. Some of these advantages include the acceptable use of CP time, parking in fire lanes, sending food back, and not tipping.
