Houston Astro’d

The Houston Astros are a Major League Baseball team that plays in the American League West Division. They cheated their way to a World Series win in 2017 with a center field camera and by banging a trash can to let the batter know what pitch was coming. In 2018, they traded in the trash can for a buzzer that 5’6” Jose Altuve from Hobbiton stuck up his butt. The Astros have long been known to have something dirty on MLB commissioner Robb Manfred, as he let them keep the trophy, the trash cans and even the butt buzzers.

The fictional character from Wacky Races who always loses. He continuously tries to set traps for other racers which do not work. Perhaps stupidly, whenever he gets ahead in a race he attempts to set a trap for the other racers rather than keeping on going and winning outright. Has a dog minion called Muttley. Drives the Mean Machine

Daste

Originating in 2018 Daste is a mixture of the bedfordshire slang terms ‘taste’(postitive term) and ‘dirt’ (negative term). Daste is saying which should be said when your taste and dirt but ultimately more taste than dirt. For example, if your football team is winning 2-1 and you have a bet on they will win 3-1, if the game finishes 2-1 your slightly dirt your bet didn’t come in but ultimately your taste cause your team won.

“Had 3-1 to come in and we won 2-1, i’m daste.”
