The act of being a wingman for a friend. Assisting a friend with a male or female.

The act of stealing ones partner or hopeful partner. The opposite of a wingman

Derived from the former Utah Jazz player John Stockton who was known for his record setting amount of both steals and assists.

Comstock Park 

City of about 10,000 residents just north of Grand Rapids, MI. Home to historical landmarks such as Nick Fink's Bar and Brenner's Bait Shop. A large road called West River Dr. runs through it, making it one of only two reasons anybody would be in Comstock Park and not live there. The other is Fifth Third Ballpark, formerly Old Kent Ballpark, and it is home to the West Michigan Whitecaps. Comstock Park has its own complete Public Schooling system, with a nearly 95% regret rate for college-bound graduates of its high school. It also is home to many major business franchises mostly housed on Alpine Ave, which is bordered by an elaborate and modern apartment complex called York Creek. The middle school is called Mill Creek. There's a Mill Creek Tavern. They are proud of their creeks. But the creeks are filled with pee and glass.

Person 2: Oh really? Can you pick me up some bait and a polar pop?

comstocking 

1) When a politician hides from an important issue by blasting out a smokescreen of photo-ops and tweets about inoffensive issues that everyone agrees on, like kissing babies and supporting the troops.

2) When you are chicken and come out against a bill after it’s pulled and you don't have to vote on it anymore.

3) When a legislator accepts money to lobby for a bill she/he is also sponsoring and voting for. unethical

4) The unethical act of simultaneously legislating and lobbying for the same bill.

5) When a politician avoids talking to constituents unless they have been pre-screened and pre-selected to ensure they won't ask hard questions.

6) When a politician never holds a town hall meeting with constituents.

7) When politician waits until the last moment to vote on a bill in order to vote with the majority.

She is tweeting madly about nothing these days - she must be comstocking until after everyone else has voted on the bill, then she will vote with the majority when it is safe.

He was really comstocking that bill before he finally sponsored and voted for it - he took $153,000 from corporate lobbyists!

She is really comstocking her district - she has never held a town hall meeting with the voters.
