Chatham Pocket 

The anus. Slang term used in the Medway towns of Kent in south-east England (the Medway towns perhaps have the worst reputation of any in the county, and Chatham is definitely the least desirable of them). The term derives from the local criminals' tendency to smuggle cigarettes, lighters and drugs into the police cells, by secreting them in their anuses. Chatham criminals are so notoriously inept that the local police believe they know they will get caught, and consequently have to prepare for a stay in the cells by smuggling their home comforts in their "Chatham pocket".

I lifted that idiot lad again for swiping CDs from the market. No doubt he's brought everything he needs in his Chatham pocket.

For someone who grew up in a town where you had to worry about being kidnapped, stabbed, beaten and mugged, not a bad place to grow up.

Maybe the people are snobby, and that's wrong, but having snotty neighbors beats having neighbors that raped the little girl that moved into your old house.

Being rich, drunk and snobby is obnoxious, but complaining about how rich drunk and snobby everyone else is and about how boring it is here is pretty obnoxious, too.

Be thankful for what you've got and what you haven't had to put up with and worry about for the last however many years and shut the fuck up.

Chatham is a nice place, Chatham High School is a great school (number two in the state) and the drinking, cheating and snobbery happens in any other suburban high school. A much better definition would be whiny, rich kids who don't appreciate what they've got.

I'm glad we moved to Chatham so that I could get a damned good education and not have to worry about elementary school knife fights.

Chatham 

A town in Medway, Kent, England, United Kingdom, Europe, The World.

Where the name for the American town of the same name came from.

Gets way too much abuse from people that have never even visited, because of the rise in popularity of the term 'Chav', which originated there (probably).

There are Chavs there (the same as there are in many towns), but is not solely occupied by Chavs, as many would have you believe. In fact, the town's alternative population is just as strong.

Home of the alternative pub 'Tap'n'Tin', which was where the Libertine's first album cover was shot.

Chatham: home of the Historic Dockyard and Fort Amhurst; what a lovely day out that will be!

Chatham Ontario 

A city in Ontario that most have never heard of.

Surrounding small towns were joined together with Chatham city in 1998. It is now called Chatham-Kent or CK for short.
CK is a micro city that is growing after several years of declining population. Along with most of Southern Ontario, home prices are increasing rapidly from about 2017 to the present. The Covid Pandemic did not slow this, in fact it raised real estate prices.

Chatham is a safe city with very little violent crime, but it does tend to have more property crimes.

Sky: "Chatham, what's that?"
Kathy: "Chatham Ontario. It's in southwestern Ontario. "
Sky: "Oh yeah, that's the city between London and Windsor".

Chatham 

Chatham is a crap dump town located south of Springfield, IL in Central Illinois. Chatham is distinguished from the other shitsvilles in Central Illinois by its being one of the larger crap towns in the region and the home of the Illinois Championship Cow Chip Throw. In Chatham, throwing cow chips is considered a fine art, not backasswards pastime that only hicks indulge in. The inhabitants of Chatham often boast about their cow-chip throwing prowess and wave their shit-covered hands in the air like they just don't care.

One of Chatham's major attractions is the beautiful funeral home that used to be the bowling alley. This landmark underscores how Chatham is an up-an-comer in the mortuary business. The loveliest view of Chatham is in your rear view mirror.

Impressed Visitor to Central Illinois: Are you from Chatham? It looks like you have shit on your hands.
Person with shit on his hands sighs: Thanks for the compliment. No, I was just finished diapering my son.
