An arbiter of the arbitrary. The decisionist that determines what is desultory.

arbitrarian

-that person in a group, who wherever they are, is constantly trying to keep the noise/speaking volume down.

Arbitrarium

A museum of the arbitrary.
I want to open an arbitrarium and fill it with things like statues of people who have feet for hands, photographs of people on the beach who went there just because they felt like it, a diorama of a courthouse scene in which a judge is delivering a sentence based on his whim rather than on the facts of the case. A rock from my shoe. A dead squirrel. The letter M. An empty candy wrapper. The sound of silence!

binding arbitration

The latest in Corporate America’s sadly successful attempts to undermine democracy and make themselves above the law.
All disputes must be revolved by binding arbitration. You agree to waive your right to a trial by jury and that the judge will be this rigged-ass old man paid off by the company.

Permanent Court of Arbitration

(MULTILATERAL GOVERNMENT) International court based in the Hague, the Netherlands; founded in 1889; oldest multilateral court. In some respects, a precursor to the International Court of Justice (also in the Hague--in the same building, the Peace Palace).

The PCA differs from the ICJ in that only national governments may be respondents in the ICJ (which operates like a civil court). The PCA settles disputes that may arise between a private party (such as RCA, in RCA vs. China-1935) and a national government, or between national governments. Parties submit to the PCA when the dispute is a nuisance to both, but relevant laws are uncertain.
The Permanent Court of Arbitration has a three-part organizational structure consisting of an Administrative Council that oversees its policies and budgets, a panel of independent potential arbitrators known as the Members of the Court, and its Secretariat, known as the International Bureau, headed by the Secretary-General.

Arbitration is a week a way and i am already imagining the beef sweats.

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.

Salad Days

green inexperienced youthful judgement and cold blooded execution of those judgements.

Rashness with little concern of consequence.
