Apolonized

a-POL-o-nized

To be fixated in a trancelike state whereby a person’s attention has been seduced by flowing locks, mischievous wide smile and penetrating, molten eyes.

To lose time, hunger, and interest in anything else as you track down articles and pictures of an individual.

To be compelled to do nothing but look at photos and read articles on an individual all day long.

Female: I don't know what happened. I was working on my report and then he walked by...so fluid, so Olympic like. Next thing I know, there's coffee on my report and you're telling me you've been calling me for ten minutes. I guess I was Apolonized!

Female: I was immediately Apolonized as he walked into the room smiled, tossed his head and stared right at me.

“I’ve made a severe and continuous lapse of my judgment and I don’t expect to be forgiven I’m simply here to apologize”

Something Logan Paul said once....
...and got a lot of hate for it after a certain incident.
Pewdiepie reviewed this sometime not too long ago and said the steps to an apology “I’ve made a severe and continuous lapse of my judgment and I don’t expect to be forgiven I’m simply here to apologize”

To have your image re-touched. Started off in Facebook by a Photoshop wiz . . . he came up with an album called "Beautiful People" where he would 'apollonize' ordinary portraits of individuals.
Wow!! That portrait of yours is such an eye candy!! Did you have it apollonized ?

I DO apologize

Rather than taking responsibility or solving a problem that a company has caused you, they just use the three litte words to end the matter: "I DO apologize" with the emphasis on "DO". What they are really saying is "I DON'T apologize, nor do I give a damn about you, or the inconviences and money we have cost you, now hang up the phone and let me get back to my sandwich!"
After dinging the customer's credit card a third time, the phone clerk responded, "Yes I see we have overbilled you and caused your credit score to be lowered do to a mistake we have made but it is past 30 days and there is nothing we can do about it, I DO apologize".

British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”

Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.

Pee Calculus

When you have to pee in a movie but don’t want to miss anything, and must do the following mental equation: will the amount I have to pee cause enough discomfort to diminish my attention capacity for the remainder of the movie to an extent which is greater than the amount of the movie I would miss by making a mad dash to the restroom.
I saw Satantango last night, wonderful film but by the 5th hour I had to start doing pee calculus.
