Antisocial

Not sociable; not wanting the company of others. Contrary to the laws and customs of society; devoid of sociable instincts or practices.

Often confused with aspd, the term antisocial just refers to people who are a shy, withdrawn, or devoid of social skills.
Normal person: "See that antisocial loner over there? Let’s go talk to them to try and brighten their day."
Ignorant Individual: “Don’t you mean asocial? Antisocial means hostile.”

Normal Person: “Actually, no, look up the definition of asocial. It’s the other way around.”

antisocial extrovert

The term can describe a broad array of possibilities:

1.) Someone who could easily be the life party... if you could just get them to come to it.
2.) Someone who came to the party, lived it up, and then wanted to get the heck alone.
3.) Someone who came to the party, got drained from the crowds, and then wanted to get the heck alone.
4.) Someone who can carry a conversation in a bucket, but prefers not to seek them out with others.
5.) Someone aware that they usually have fun around others but are happier ignoring that in favor of just being alone.
6.) Someone who is probably glad those get-together plans got the heck cancelled.

Antisocial extroverts may prefer small groups of friends and/or family over larger groups, supposing they prefer some people. Though probably capable of making and elaborating upon small talk, they may hate it. They may feel a pointlessness to social gatherings unless they can somehow "fit in" meaningfully, such as having a role (cooking, entertaining, etc). If not, they most likely feel an outright pointlessness to social gatherings.
Zach: "Joe is such an antisocial extrovert, there's no way he'll come to the party"

Jess: "Let's kidnap him and make me remember he has fun around people"
Zach: "Ok cool"

Antisocial Computing

(2) Ineffective and inefficient multi-tasking, resulting in an unequal division of ones attention among one's company and gadgetry
(3) Self-imposed isolation resulting from an inability to detach oneself from ubiquitous digital temptations
Rather than spending time engaging in conversation with the rest of the family, Sigmund sat in the corner playing solitaire on his laptop. He continued to do so, until his antisocial computing was interrupted by an incoming text message he proceeded to read aloud, derailing the ongoing discussion from the sidelines...

Antisocial Extrovert

A person who may seem reclusive or “antisocial”, but at times acts the complete opposite around certain people.
Person 1: Dom is so quiet & shy in class.
Person 2: What are you talking about I was with him & Jan at the mall yesterday like, he wouldn't shut the fuck up or stop showing off.
Person 1:Maybe he's just an Antisocial Extrovert.

antisocialite

(n) A person who defies fashion and trendiness passively, by just being an individual.

The polar opposite of a socialite.

Not to be confused with an antisocial, antisocialites do not shun socializing, but rather avoid using it as a lifestyle (as socialites do).

Also not to be confused with a nonconformist, who purposely does the opposite of anything they deem to be "in" at a given time.
Example:
If you just have to get that new Louis Vuitton handbag with built in poodle carrier, you're a socialite.

If you hate the world and everything in it, and are too lazy to do more than bitch about it, you are a nonconformist.

If you just don't give a fuck, you're an antisocialite.

antisocial nearing

The opposite of social distancing.

In a pandemic when people ignore the advice of social distancing and instead engage in antisocial nearing activities like shaking hands, hugging, and spending time in large crowds.
That coughing, sniffling, lunatic went in for a full-on antisocial nearing hug when the CDC says we should be practicing social distancing.

The President of the United States for weeks encouraged antisocial-nearing, telling everyone not to worry because the pandemic was under control and might just disappear.

city chicken

A food native to Pittsburgh/Western Pennsylvania in which cubes of pork and/or veal are put on a short, wooden skewer, breaded, then baked and/or fried.

I've heard that city chicken originated during the Great Depression, when folks didn't have enough money to buy full cuts of meat, so they assembled meat scraps on a wooden skewer, creating a make-shift drumstick. Hence the name.
