(1)Model is a male or female that promotes an product, agency, event, clothing line, etc. There are different types of model including, Print,Fashion,Swimsuit and Promotional. They come in all sizes and ages. Females usually have to be 5'7 and higher for most modeling and for males about 5'9 and higher. Although Print models have no height requirements. They build up portfolios and create comp cards to be booked for modeling jobs and the payment is reall good depending on the jobs you can and how much experience you got.

A person who poses for photographs, usually to sell clothing or products. Makes for some interesting Reality TV.

Yeah, a lot of models ARE airbrushed--but it's ignorant to say that "OMG SHE'S SKINNY SHE MUST BE BULIMIC." There's nothing wrong w/ being a little skinny, the same way there's nothing wrong with being a little overweight. People should stop hating on skinny people.
Normal person: Did you watch America's Next Top Model yesterday?
Ignorant moron: WHAT? SO I CAN SEE SOME LAME ANERZIXC GIRL? No way!! I'm fat and proud!!!!
Normal person: Er, okay then..o___O

Male or female- from infants and above. There are many types of Modeling- Runway, Print, Commercial, High fashion/editorial, Plus, Promotional, etc. All models are NOT skinny, and it is VERY frowned upon in the Modeling industry to have an eating disorder. Runway models have to be certain measurements. Print models do ads and such. Commercial models fit the average looking person who can also work in commercials. High fashion/editorial modeling is basically modeling for things like Gucci, Versace, etc.- all the big name brands. Plus models are those who are bigger than the average/usual measurements. Promotional models do promotions.

And Believe it, Modeling is NOT an easy job. Models are definitely not dumb and they have to have thick skin to face criticism from agents, designers, etc.
I've been modeling since I was 13 years old. I thought it would be easy, but was I ever wrong. 2 years later, I really enjoy doing it and it's what I love.

good-looking people hired by creepy employees to make normal people feel like a fatass. Children get the worst of it because in some cases, pedophilia occurs. Some fucked-up stuff can happen during modeling.
Man, I wish I was a model. But I'm too ugly.

Modeling is a job for women, girls, children, men and men, starting with infants. Unlike popular belief modeling takes alot of hard work. There is alot of rejection involved. Also you have to dicsipline yourself to stay in shape and handle the pressure of audition and jobs. Alot of people think you can just become a model. It takes alot of hard work. You must get a comp card, create a portfolio, find agencies and management etc., and go on many auditions until you finally get a job.

Pretty women or handsome men. No different from the ones you work with, go to school with, or hang out with
I look around and I see so many women who are just as beautiful and sexy as celebrities/models and they're just average people.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.

West Midlands slang word for rockers, bikers, greasers etc. In the late 1980s it was used by the UK music press to refer to a specific scene centered around the bands Pop Will Eat Itself and Crazyhead. The term never found favour with readers of 'the inkies' (Sounds, Melody Maker and the still extant NME) and was soon dropped. Now often used in predominantly working-class areas of the midlands and the north to mean someone who listens to rock-derived music and/or dresses in a manner that suggests they affiliate themselves with rock music of some kind.
