Misprinted word in Trivial Pursuit of Seinfeld which is actually Moors. Because of this, the Moors is now sometimes referred to as the Moops.
It's not the Moors, it's the Moops!

monopsony

The opposite of a monopoly; whereas an economic monopoly is on the supply side, a monopsony is on the demand side.
A managed health care provider is a monopsony for the doctors working within it. They cannot bill anyone but the provider, not their patients.

"The Card Says Moops" Maneuver

A form of logically fallacious reasoning that involves winning an argument by taking a contrarian position that is left just vague enough to where they win the argument regardless of which side comes out on top.

Named after the famous scene from the Seinfeld episode "The Bubble Boy."
There's a certain beat-you-at-your-own-gameiness to "The Card Says Moops" Maneuver. "Safe spaces are bullshit, but if you get one I get one, too." "There's no such thing as systemic oppression, but if there were, I'd be oppressed." It's dismissing the rhetoric of social justice while also trying to use it against you. Claiming "the card says 'Moops'" does not so much mean "I believe the people who invaded Spain in the 8th century were literally called 'The Moops'," but rather "you can't prove I don't believe it." Not a statement of sincere belief; simply moving a piece across the board. All in the game, yo.
-- Innuendo Studios, "The Alt-Right Playbook: The Card Says Moops"
(n.)An abbreviation for the widely known board game, Monopoly. It is used primarily when referring to an online version of the game. Most often, it is used because the original name for the game is so archaic and has such a negative connotation as it is an endless mind-numbing endeavor that is rarely completed or played correctly. This abbreviation gives it a new meaning; thus it is a NEW game. A cool one at that.
(v.) 1. To play said game. 2. In some instances, it can be used as an insult to a competitor. i.e. You just got monopsed.
Dude, I'm jonesin' for some Monops later. You in?

Apples to apples is lame, Let's get sauced and Monops a little.

British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”

Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.
According to the boffins downstairs, the murderer used a serrated blade.

Pee Calculus

When you have to pee in a movie but don’t want to miss anything, and must do the following mental equation: will the amount I have to pee cause enough discomfort to diminish my attention capacity for the remainder of the movie to an extent which is greater than the amount of the movie I would miss by making a mad dash to the restroom.
I saw Satantango last night, wonderful film but by the 5th hour I had to start doing pee calculus.
