Words you can keep

The Up-Down

Checking someone out by looking from the head then down.
1: I just gave that person the up-down

2: whats the up down

3: I checked her/him out from head to toe

the up way

A method for ensuring the most disappointingly mediocre outcome for any endeavor
things were going much better than expected, and then we remembered that by applying the UP way we could justify our pointless existence in perpetuity

the UP way

first gear = be sympathetic (offer phony apology), second gear = cya, third gear = place blame on others
When micro met with his underling, he used the UP way® and shift gears in record time!

the up and over

the process of male self-felatio where one lies completely on their back and flips their legs back over their head. Requires extreme flexibility and perhaps a few surgically removed ribs.
Jim went to Pilates five days a week with the hope that we would gain enough flexibility to self-administer the up and over one day. Never again would he need a girlfriend.

The Up Angle

The angle used by most girls to make their face look slimmer. They raise their phone higher than their head and look at it, giving them a more slender complexion.
I used the Up Angle on him, and then he asked me out

keep it on the up

1) Doing what society expects of you; being a proper ciizen; acting properly. Using socially acceptable behavior. Another way to say "walk the straight and narrow path"; being a "proper"citizen; straight laced.

2) The alternate name for "Troublemaker", by Weezer, by dumbasses because they only really listen to the chorus.
"Troublemaker" Exerpt, 2nd verse:

I'm growin' out my hair,

I'm movin' up to Cherokee,

I'm gonna be a rockstar,

And you will go ta bed with me,

'Cause I can't work a job,

Like any other slob,

Punchin' in and punchin' out
and suckin-up to "Bob".

Marryin' a bi-otch,

Havin' seven ki-ods,

Givin' up and growin' old,

And hopin' there's a God.

I'm a troublemaker,

Never been a faker.

Doin' things my own way

And never givin' up

I'm a troublemaker,

Not a doubletaker.

I don't have the patience to keep it on the up.

2. Movie

A story about a Jersey girl following her dreams, aided by working at this bar in New York.

3. Situation/Person/Decision

See other definitions - waking up next to someone so ugly you'd rather chew your arm off than wake them up.
1. Yo, Coyote Ugly is my favorite bar! I got whipped, stripped, drunk, and danced on the bar all before 7 o'clock!

2. Hey did you see Coyote Ugly? It actually has a plot!

3. Ugg I woke up to Coyote Ugly this morning!

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
