A fair skinned African American.
May be fair skinned secondary to previous generations of european descent. Fair skinned appearance
may also be a result of non-african parentage.
Often, at birth, African American children
may appear 'light-skinded' but darken up after days to weeks after birth evoking accusations such as "That ain'
t my baby!" and "You slept with a white man!"
Stranger: "you got a white momma?"
Me: "Why you asking?"
Stranger: "No disrespect, you are just
light-skinded that's all."
Me: "
Ahh, that's because Ma'ssr couldn't keep his hands off the house slaves." (implying that there is european heritage in family's past).
