A person who consciously trained both hands to near-equal skill without being born this way. Unlike natural ambidexters, sindextrous individuals retain their brain's dominant hemisphere (usually left for language).
After six months of training and practicing with their non-dominant hand, the person has become sindextrous: their right hand remains dominant, but their left hand can now perform almost all the same tasks at a near-equal level.
