(Adj) the act of being inebriated during your scheduled restaurant shift.

When she came in to work was fine, but by the end of the night she was shift faced.

Shifted-face

There is buzzed, drunk, hammered, shmamered, shit-faced and there is shifted-face. Shifted-face is an extreme form of inebriation that no one except the elites can handle. You become so drunk you start to see people's faces(including your own) shifted from their original position (usually a few inches to the right depending on your tolerance level).

Andrew: I finished the paper
Karim: Awesome, let's celebrate and get hammered
Adam: Fuck that, let's get shifted-face
