scholastica

Scholastica used to define a bright person. Derived from the word *Scholastic
Scholasticas are very friendly and have a creative way of sending a message to the other Party
they are usually wild and chatty but also addicts with literature and written art
Many are great authors and when they imagine things...well they imagine Dragons :)
Word of advise don't mess with Scholasticas

They have a different way of dealing with things
Damn,I'm dating a Scholastica!

scholastic swag

having alot of class, geek'd up, very futuristic, so much class they call you the professor.
i walked up in it with my scholastic swag they all thought was a professor or something.

general scholastic ability test

The GSAT.
A kind of entrance exam for universities in Taiwan, which is most high school students’ nightmare.
At first, it was not that difficult to finish each subject in time. However, the questions in it have become exquisitely longer, apparently students will face tremendous pressure in the future.
There are only four days left before the GSAT! Go and study for Gods sake!
Poor you have to take the general scholastic ability test, but I have no idea how to help you.

GOOD LUCK!

scholastic beatdown

when the principal, vice-principal, counsellor and librarian take turns talking about the student's emotions and issues then after 15 minutes have passed they started disciplining the child according to the sins they committed.
Yo, I heard Jimmy got the scholastic beatdown yesterday.

Yeah, he can't even move his jaw anymore.

schoolsickness

A feeling generally obtained at the end of the summer, when summer has gotten boring and old, and one is ready to return to school and see people they haven't since June.
Man summer's getting old and I havent seen Chris or Rob all summer. I sorta want to start the year. I have a case of schoolsickness I guess.

scholasticitis

A seemingly harmless disease, vivified by ones entrance into an institution of higher education, resulting in assholism, severe cases of jerkherria and the rare but horrid instances of nausea imposed on others. Most common symptoms include a desperate urge for attention and a pathetic need to prove oneself to others. Causes behind the disease have eluded researchers for decades, since many of them suffer from severe cases of scholasticitis themselves. Although speculations suggest an increase in one's production of self-assumed intelligence might be the cause behind this ruthless disease.

Easy ways to spot victims of scholasticitis include the following simple tests:
1. Subject has difficulty passing a single day without correcting someone.
2. Subject believes that scholasticitis probably indicates some form of praise that he/she/it will then proceed to define themselves.
3. Subject will attempt to correct the grammar, spelling, punctuation and/or logic behind this very definition of their condition.
That is one pretentious jerk, perhaps he suffers from scholasticitis.

Scholasticitis has ruined my friendships. (Proclaimed by a reformed victim of a prior case of scholasticitis)
