Potassium nitrate is a chemical compound with a sharp, salty, bitter taste & the chemical formula KNO
3. It is an ionic salt of potassium ions K+ & nitrate ions NO3−, & is therefore an alkali metal nitrate. It occurs in nature as a mineral, niter (or nitre in the UK). It is a source of nitrogen, & nitrogen was named after niter. Potassium nitrate is 1 of several nitrogen-containing compounds collectively referred to as saltpeter (or saltpetre in the UK).

In Prisons they mix it in with Koolaid known as county koolaid to curb the Male Libido / sexdrive , to cut down

On prison rape & keep them from being aggressive , makes them More Docile .

In layman's terms salt petre does the opposite of

Viagra, extense, enzyte,purple rhino, blue gas station pills,
cialis & other male enhancements.

Salt petre

Major uses of potassium nitrate are in fertilizers, tree stump removal, rocket propellants and fireworks. It is one of the major constituents of gunpowder (black powder).6 In processed meats, potassium nitrate reacts with hemoglobin and myoglobin generating a red color.

Saltpeter & other nitrates have a long history of medical use, but it is toxic in high doses & can produce symptoms ranging from a mild headache & upset stomach to kidney damage & dangerously altered blood pressure.

Potassium nitrate (KNO3), a substance used in explosives (usually gunpowder) and fertilizers.

Contrary to popular urban legend, saltpeter has no effect on libido, and too many side effects (high fever, etc.) to be used even if it did.

The army doesn't want to kill our soldiers with saltpeter. They want our enemies to do it.
