Similar to a Holiday Inn hotel, but crappier and with nicer people. Residents pay $5000/year to reside in one of these. Included free of charge are 2am fire drills and bathrooms in which people do not flush the toilets.

The Pond Road Residence 

The most exclusive residence building at York University in Toronto. Largely populated by students studying at the Schulich School of Business, Canada's #1 ranked business school. Most Pond residents can be noticed from among the rest of York because of their designer clothes or the fact that they are wearing a Schulich leonard.
Average York student: "Like your outfit"
Amy: "It's Chanel"
Average York student: "Cool"
Amy: So where do you live?
Average York student: The Village, you?
Amy: The Pond Road Residence duuh (flips her hair and walks away in her Jimmy Choos)

Lambton Residence

A small, old, moldy motel, Now know as Lambton residence. You will often mistake it for a small prison to which dreams go to die. Now inhibited by county hicks, stoners and stuck up assholes in Paramedic, the student social life is really dead. If you expect any fun activities to be held at residence... don't.

Redundence

(noun) a figure of speech in which a concept is applied twice in the same sentence under different pretences.
The repetition of the same statement, with the second concept supporting the first.

Pronounced as re-dun-dence.

This is a concept of a redundant-comment-sentence.
a. "Nothing changes, if nothing changes," is a redundence said in 12 Step recovery programs suggesting that your life will not change unless you actively make changes.

b. "When you know it, you'll know it," is a redundence about someone unsure of knowing something, and another person ensuring they will know it when it becomes prevalent.

c. "If I didn't know that guy, I wouldn't know that guy," is a redundence where s/he knew an obscure person.

An apartment that has become abandoned due to a new relationship between two people. Often occurs when a male meets a female with a bigger or better home/apartment and starts to live in it to save money and feel some sort of achievement or personal growth.
