Sending logically connected thoughts, information or instructions via separate email (or text) messages, when a single message would have sufficed. Piecemail is a breach of email etiquette that contributes to the proliferation of an unmanageable volume of messages in your inbox.
I'm tired of Angie sending me the accounting department's requirements piecemail. I received five emails from her this morning when she could have just sent me one with everything she needed in a single message.
