Pennying

'Pennying' or also known as 'The Penny Game' is a simple British drinking game, traditionally played during formal dinners (Formal Hall) at Cambridge University. One person throws a penny into another's pint (or other alcoholic beverage) and that person has to down the drink in order to "stop the Queen from drowning". (As the Queen's face is depicted on 1p coins).

"Did you know they banned Pennying in Formal Hall?"

"Yeah! Dirk got so pissed he had to go to hospital!"

Alfred Pennyworth

One bad ass, mother fucker that is not to be trifled with. More or less Bruce Wayne's butler.

He has made appearances and/or played major roles in all of the Batman movies and TV shows.

Alfred Pennyworth: A long time ago, I was in Burma, my friends and I were working for the local government. They were trying to buy the loyalty of tribal leaders by bribing them with precious stones. But their caravans were being raided in a forest north of Rangoon by a bandit. So we went looking for the stones. But in six months, we never found anyone who traded with him. One day I saw a child playing with a ruby the size of a tangerine. The bandit had been throwing them away.

Bruce Wayne: The bandit, in the forest in Burma, did you catch him?

Alfred Pennyworth: Yes.

Bruce Wayne: How?

Alfred Pennyworth: We burned the forest down.

Sticking pennies between a door and a frame in order to render the doorknob useless, thus trapping someone in their room. Accomplished by pushing the door inward and stacking pennies as deep as possible until the door is held completely in place by the pennies.

Man, pennying that guy in his room was fun... Sucks getting written up by the RA though.
