At 76 000 words you can finish it in less than 5 hours, if not less than 3, but you will feel echoes of pain through your entire being for up to 70 years after reading. Upon rereading, the foreshadowing can and will tear your soul to pieces.

True kids raised in church/cults will recognise the obvious references to the bible, (pushing the spear into your side again and again), but without context it's just a nice song about belonging and guilt and grief.
