-The belief that the nursing profession is the most important profession, and all other professions are inferior and do not contribute to healthcare as a whole.
-Selfishness, involving a sense of entitlement, a lack of empathy, and a need for admiration, as characterized by their nursing profession.
-Self-centeredness arising from failure to distinguish the self from their nursing profession, often the result of a mental disorder.

nursissist 

A disorder in which a person has an inflated sense of self-importance because they are, or are training to be a nurse. Also seen in Nurses who feel their school choice supersedes another nurses school choice.
She is a nursissist because she thinks she is a better nurse since she got her nursing degree at a private college rather than those who get theirs from a technical college.
