A guitar noob is usually quite a young guitarist who thinks they can do lodes of fast shred soloing just by randomly picking and sweeping notes. They are usually found in guitar shops and guitar exhibitions like music live or NAMM playing the best guitar on the loudest amp deliberately in front of other people trying to show off a false sense of musical knowledge and technicality when they sound absolutely terrible, there for making a complete noob out of them self.
Typically, guitar noobs practice alot but are too arrogent to take criticism so just keep practicing all the wrong things there for staying at the same level of playing for a very long time.

Randon guitar shop guy: Hey, you ever heard of Yngwie Malmsteen or Steve vai, shit, man those guys can shred on guitar!
Guitar noob:Ah yeh, those guys are kwl but some of there stuff is actually quite easy!

TUF noob

Any over zealous person who started watching Mixed Martial arts after the reality show "The Ultimate fighter" started airing. A TUF noob can be identified by his TapouT shirt. No real MMA fan wears the obnoxious and overpriced brand unless they are sponsored by them. They also refer to MMA as "Ultimate fighting." They also like to lie to people saying they "train UFC." That's like a football player who says he "trains NFL." A TUF noob has no formal training and while watching an event likes to scream what to do at trained MMA athletes who put a lot of hard work to get where they are. TUF noobs usually walk around like they have phone books under their armpits even if they don't have any muscle definition. Most TUF noobs cannot appreciate the aspect of ground fighting and thinks transitioning from positions and chaining submission attempts requires no skill. They just want to see hands being thrown but do not change the channel to watch boxing. TUF noobs like to start shit in bars, and usually gets in fights with other TUF noobs. Sometimes they pick on the wrong person who is minding their own business but actually trains and is knocked out or choked unconscious until they piss their pants.

A sunburn or suntan focused on the left arm. It is caused by the left side of the body being the only half that gets exposed to sunlight while driving. Presumably, it would be located on the right side of the body in countries where they drive on the left side of the road.

Boffin

British slang for a scientist or technical expert, esp . when the speaker is not certain of the expert’s specific field of study. Not necessarily derogatory, but typically used by persons without a technical background. In the US, the equivalent would be “egghead”, “squint”, or “geek.”

Origin of the word is unknown. Started sometime in World War 2. Given the typical evolution of British slang, could easily have started because what these experts did was confusing or “baffling” to the common person.

According to the boffins downstairs, the murderer used a serrated blade.
