To steal
one small, not very valuable (in terms of money) thing out of a whole bunch of the things in a very 'sneaky'(ish) way, and then do it again and again from different bunches of things that belong to different people or groups because they won'
t notice if one of the things is gone and it won't really impact them in any way. Like going on a walk and stealing
one flower from each yard to make a bouquet instead of stealing a bunch of flowers form
one yard because no one
will notice if one flower is gone and it makes you feel mischievous and sneaky in a delightful kind of way. (created and thought up by Aurora Aksnes (
AURORA); found in a triple j interview)
"I went pit-nicking for a bouquet of flowers." "I pit-nicked some
candy from the pantry while I was at my best friend's
house."
"I've enjoyed a bit of pit-nicking in
my life. I love stealing flowers from other people's gardens." - Aurora Aksnes
