Misophonia

A rarely diagnosed mental condition in which negative emotional experiences (from annoyance to extreme rage) are triggered by specific sounds, which can be either loud or soft. Nose sniffling, eating and breathing noises and tapping are all examples of trigger sounds for people suffering from this illness.
Misophonia, a sound sensitivity disorder, causes untold suffering and social withdrawal.

misophonia

A new or undiscovered word to many, misophonia is condition in which certain sounds provoke strong negative emotional reactions in people (anger, panic, or disgust) to a person with the disorder. One or more "trigger" sounds can cause these emotions. Common trigger noises include (but are not limited to) chewing, snorting, slurping, whispering, whistling, shushing, lip-smacking, and sneezing. Misophonia tends to develop in children and gets progressively worse over time. If someone with misophonia tells you to stop whistling, slurping, ect, stop. If you don't stop, you are a twatmuffin and we can't be friends.
"Why does Alex get angry when I whistle?"
"He has Misophonia. It's a little like OCD but with certain noises."
"Well, I'm not a twatmuffin so I'll try to work on not whistling around him."

misophonia

For people with a condition that some scientists call misophonia, mealtime can be torture. The sounds of other people eating — chewing, chomping, slurping, gurgling — can send them into an instantaneous, blood-boiling rage.
Misophonia, literally "hatred of sound", is a rarely diagnosed neuropsychiatric disorder in which negative emotions (anger, flight, hatred, disgust) are triggered by specific sounds.1 The sounds can be loud or soft.2 The term was coined by American neuroscientists Pawel Jastreboff and Margaret Jastreboff and is sometimes referred to as selective sound sensitivity syndrome.4

Hatred of noise.
I was diagnosed with misophonia,I enjoy music, but muffled talking, whispering, muttering, heavy breathing, blowing nose, tapping, snoring, etc, etc. Its ok when you make these noises, but when someone makes one of the noise listed above;they're in some deep shit.By 'deep shit' I mean the symptoms include, muscle tension, sweaty palms, biting nails or even a quickened heart beat
Dale:*taps on the table*
Your muscles tense and you ask him to stop he keeps on going so you ever shout or lunge =misophonia

Misophonia

Misophonia is something I deeply hate having. It makes me mad, sad, in pain, whenever someone

•eating ( the sound and when I see someone doing it.)
•drinking( the sound and when I see someone doing it.)
•vacuuming (only the sound)

•breathing ( depends on the look- and the sound)
•blowing nose( sound and look)
• the word “ pu!” And “ phew”( sound and look)
•nails on a chalkbored( I’m pretty sure everyone hates this sound.
•swoling(look and sound)
•silent scratching ( LOOK. OMG THIS BUGS ME SO MUCH)
Ps: you don’t get the same feeling of what you get when you hear nails on a chalk bored,it’s a different feeling for the triggers they have..to whoever have misophonia.
Whatever is in () is wether the sound bugs me or the look of it.

Back when I lived in upstate new york

A meaningless, unimpressive, self-serving introduction. An indicator that the story about to be shared will be pointless and dumb.
Back when I lived in upstate new york, I also had to park on the street - on two occasions, we got enough snow, mixed with just the right plowing, that my car was lifted off the ground from so much snow being jammed underneath it.

Sister: This meeting was to discuss the rough draft of my essay, where we discussed the subsidiary questions I added in my rough draft. We also discussed the relationship between my main title and the real-life situations I chose to use in my essay. We discussed the structure of my essay as well, specifically the Math AOK section and how it relates to the contradiction of the title. This second meeting was particularly helpful in discussing the implications of my essay claims and how to apply the title across various areas of knowledge. There were many sections of the essay that could have been cut down in wordiness and the ways of knowing required further and more in-depth analysis.
