lolnexon

Whenever Nexon, the gaming corporation that currently owns several online games including Maplestory, Combat Arms, and Mabinogi, decides to troll the richest portion of its players by making all expensive items or skills that have any collectible value plummet in price. This is done by drastically changing drop rates, adding multi-million items as a common drop for low level monsters, rehashing old quest items, making items worth several hundred million untradeable, deleting items without prior notice, amongst other trolling tactics.

This also applies to whenever Nexon decides that they need more money and release items that give definite advantages to players and can only be purchased with NX Cash.

Also, emergency server checks everyday.
A: Hey, like my new chair? I got it for 400mil!:)
B: Oh, that's yesterday's price. Nexon just changed the drop rate after all these months and they're only worth 50mil now.
A: WHAT?!?!
B: Yea, I know, lolnexon.
-
A: Oh nice, a new patch!
B: Don't be that happy, Nexon just made all Maple Bandana Reds untradeable, ugly, and one-of-a-kind.
A: WHAT?!?! I BOUGHT THOSE FOR 500MIL EACH AND I HAVE LIKE 20 OF THEM!!
B: lolnexon, you got owned again.
-
A: Oh man, after three years of saving and looking, I finally bought a palette for 1.5bil. Looks nice, doesn't it?
B: Oh dude, did you know that yesterday's server check, Nexon made them a reward inside boxes that drop from all level monsters?
A: WHAT?? WHY DOES NEXON KEEP DOING THIS?!?
B: Dude, it's just another lolnexon moment. You should be used to it by now.
-
A: Yo, I saw this guy with a Super Snowboard... do they come from those 1k boxes?
B: Yea, they do.
A: I thought they were only available in MapleSEAS...
B: They were. Nexon decided to say fuck it to copyright laws and put it in the game.
A: lolnexon...
-
A: God dammit, ever since that patch 2 days ago, Nexon did an emergency server check every night...
B: Yea, they were like... fuck it, who cares if there are a lot of glitches in the game. The players won't care if they keep getting disconnected.
A: lolnexon...
B: By the way, another emergency server check in 10minutes. They forgot to fix the problem with players disconnecting whenever they hit or pick up anything.
-
A: Yo, scheduled server check today. They've been planning this for a week now. Be prepared.
B: Yea, I know, I already dropped all my good shop spots in Free Market 1.
A: ...what the hell dude, it's past the scheduled time and they haven't started yet...
B: Let me check their site.
A: Anything?
B: No, let's wait 10 minutes.
A: OMG, THEY DECIDED TO CANCEL IT!
B: SERIOUSLY?
A: Yea, they lied to us AGAIN! And didn't decide to say they canceled it until AFTER the scheduled time. What the hell Nexon...
B: *Sigh* another lolnexon moment...
A: Yea... why do we even play this anymore...

French slang, which translated, means "bull's fashion" but basically equates to "hyper trendy" or overly trendy. Used when a person wishes to express distaste at the latest fashion trend/fad, because it seems that everyone has a certain item of clothing or is wearing it. A slang term for GLP-1 medications(like Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, etc.), usually referring to their appetite-killing, weight-loss, or “I forgot to eat” effects rather than the medical details.

Usage:
* Often casual, ironic, or meme-y
* Can imply effortless weight loss, suppressed hunger, or being “powered by pharmaceuticals”

Notes:
Not a brand name—just shorthand for the whole GLP-1 wave. Frequently shows up in online jokes, gym talk, and group chats where people pretend they’re *totally* doing it naturally.
