2. The level of hunger in which you are so starved, you lose all level of social awareness and are generally miserable and grumpy, until you've eaten.

humgruffin

The act of using your lower lip as a shovel to clean smashed pie off the floor.

This is done without hands- to be properly humgruffin, you must rest your chin on the floor with your lip extended and propel yourself forward with your legs.

I dropped a pie last night, and before I could get the broom, Katie was humgruffin that shit up.
