Hautian Hoochie 

ho-SHIN HOOCH-ee –noun

A class of female currently residing in Terre Haute, Indiana, usually between the ages of 16 and 24. They can be identified by their enthusiastic use of facial cosmetics, skin which is tanned to an excessive degree, and an IQ approximately equal to that of the Hexaprotodon Liberiensis, otherwise known as the Pygmy Hippopotamus.

(Note: Upon exceeding their expiration date, the female will increase in bodily volume at an exponential rate.)

Haitian Standard Time 

About 45 mins or an hour passed stated start time.

In the event that, a Haitian event is being thrown (Birthday party, Wedding, Church, etc...) it is normal for participants to arrive 45 mins to an hour late.

This was derived from EST (Eastern Standard Time) and adding 45 mins to an hour for late-ness

Party start time is suppose to be 4pm, Haitians arrive at 4:45 or 5pm because they run on HST.
Person 1: Dang! Church started and there's only 4 people in the audience!

Person 2: Yeah, dats that HST for ya!

Person 1: What?!

Person 2: HST, you know, Haitian Standard Time

Haitian American 

A person who holds American nationality but has Haitian ethnicity
I’m considered to be a Haitian American since I was born in the United States but both my parents are natives from Haiti - Ex 1

I was born abroad in Haiti to American parents which automatically gave me U.S citizenship at birth therefore I’m considered a Haitian American - Ex 2

I originally came to the United States as a Haitian immigrant but after living here for 5 years as a permanent resident I was able to naturalize and become an American citizen; therefore I am now considered a Haitian American - Ex 3
A Haitian is a person born in Haiti or has either a Haitian mother or Haitian father but were born outside of Haiti. Haitians come from a strong, rich, warm, polite, complex Latin American culture. Ethnically the majority Haitians are predominantly of African decent. However millions of Haitians are a mixture of African,Spanish,British,French, Arab,German,Indian,Chinese, Jewish, Polish and Italian. And they come in all skin tones and colors. Most Haitians speak Haitian Creole (Kréyol) which is a beautiful language based from a mixture of French, Spanish, Portuguese, English, and a tiny bit african influences. Majority of Haitians are strict practicing Catholics. Only poor Haitians practice voodoo. Haitian cuisine is unique and extremely delicious made up of a typical caribbean/ latin american diet of plantains, rices, beans, seafood, meats, soups, vegetables, pastries, tropical fruits, coffee, teas, and rum but with intense mouth watering creole flavor and spice with a french culinary sophistication.Haitians dance and musics called Kompa which is exactly like Dominican merengue but much more elegant, romantic , and slow with a slow salsa-ish tempo. In America Haitian's and Haitian diaspora are one of the most educated, successful, professional minorities consisting of a large population of doctors, nurses, lawyers, engineers, entrepreneurs, business men, professional athlete's , actors, singers, fashion designers, and philanthropist.
People: You are Haitian? You don't look Haitian. I thought you were.......
Haitian: Yes, I am Haitian and we dont look like anything specific.

People: All Haitians do voodoo
Haitian: That is a lie but can I slap you now or later?
A native of Terre Haute. These people are among the slowest humans on the planet both mentally and physically. They enjoy mullets, walmart, and romantic dinners at the Ponderosa steakhouse. They have trouble properly operating automobiles and like to leave appliances in the street.
