A person who clings hard in denial of a con after they’ve been exposed.

Months after Hilaria Baldwin was exposed for her "decade long grift where she impersonates a Spanish person," she still insists she is Spanish because she's culturally fluid. She is a gripter.

Gritter

A person from the Niles region of Southwest Michigan that is known as one of the dregs of society. Gritters are usually known for being unkempt and wearing pajamas to Walmart, and being of a lower IQ, while thinking they are some sort of dirtbag Patriarche.
The female version is a Gritta, and a particularly well known Gritter, with the proper pedigree is known as a Legacy Gritter

That Gritter smells like stale Marlboros.

Griptape thumb

A very common skin condition that affects many skateboarders, griptape thumb is the wear and tear of the skin on the thumb caused by new griptape (an adhesive-backed, sandpaper-like sheet applied to the top of a skateboard which gives the rider grip).

To prevent griptape thumb, wrap your thumb in medical tape before a skate session.
