Gloryfag

A glory fag is someone who acts overly "righteous ", "epic" or "glorious" whenever playing a game or in real life. When playing a game (particularly mmorpg's), they will always choose the paladin class and act (both in the virtual and real world) as if they were the embodiment of god's holy power and the champions of light. When posing (either for a screenshot or IRL photo), they will typically kneel as if they were honoring the fallen or praying, but when they do, it is always on one knee and/or gripping something. If they do not have a sword to grip when they kneel, they will put one hand on their knee and the other on their chest or on the floor. If they do not kneel, they will either puff out their chest to appear more massive or put one leg on top of an elevated surface to look as if they just won some kind of huge victory. When speaking, the gloryfag will often use large and outdated words in place of more modern and recognizable vocabulary (they'll spout thou's and thee's as if they lived in a medieval fantasy world) *All outside of a roleplay*. In essence, a gloryfag is an edge-lord that instead of acting edgy, acts like a cringey, overacting, perpetual roleplayer.

Melvin: As a paladin, I shalt uphodleth the honor of my lord and bring forth justice unto the foul heathen creature that doth plunder the innocent villages of this fair land. *Proceeds to kneel on one knee while holding the grip of his sword with both hands*

A glorbag is similar to a douchebag, with the exception that a glorbag knows they're being a douchebag and think that's their unique way of being clever. There also must be a general air of superiority and wafts of condescension present to elevate ones status to a glorbag.

Jackson: Its like he's supposed to be there to help us, but he just makes douchebag comments while smiling and making us feel stupid.
